Open **Accounts** in [Influence](https://influence.so/app) and choose **Add an account**. The available choices show which connections you can start in your workspace.

## Complete the connection

1. Choose the service and read its connection requirements.
2. Follow the sign-in and permission steps, or enter the credentials requested by that connection. Use an app password or API token when the instructions require one.
3. If asked, select the Page, channel, location, or other destination you want to add.
4. Return to **Accounts** and check that the intended account is connected before selecting it in a post.

You need permission to publish to the selected destination. Signing in alone may not complete the connection: some services also require destination selection or additional consent.

## If the account is missing

Check that you signed in to the right service account and granted access to the intended destination. Complete any remaining selection step. If authorization was canceled or the attempt expired, start again from **Accounts**.

## Maintain or disconnect access

Use **Reconnect** when Influence asks you to renew access. Before disconnecting an account, read the impact shown: queued or publishing deliveries may be affected. Disconnecting does not delete posts already hosted by the service. Follow any instructions shown for revoking access in that service too.
