Start with one account and one draft so you can check the full publishing flow before planning more posts.

## Set up your workspace

Sign in to [Influence](https://influence.so/app) and complete the setup steps shown. Check your workspace name and time zone. In **Settings**, review your **Brand Guidelines**: describe your audience, tone, and the information your posts should follow.

If you use Influence IQ to prepare content, treat its output as a draft. Check names, links, claims, and media before approving it. Available features and publishing capacity depend on your workspace and plan.

## Prepare a draft

1. Open **Accounts** and [connect a publishing account](/help/connect-accounts).
2. Choose **New post** and select the account you want to use.
3. Write the copy, add any images or videos, and complete the settings required for that destination.
4. Check the save status before leaving. You can return to saved work in **Drafts**.

Saving a draft does not publish it.

## Review the next action

When the draft is ready, [review and publish](/help/publish). Check the destination and displayed time zone before confirming. After submission, use **Activity** to see the result for each account; submitting a post is not confirmation that every destination published it.
