Read Insights

Understand available account and post metrics, their freshness and the next step when data is missing.

Use Insights to read the results available for your connected accounts and posts. Coverage depends on the provider, account permissions and reporting period. A missing metric is unknown, not zero.

Check what the numbers cover

Read the account, date range and last successful update alongside the metrics. A count returned by a collection describes that check, not necessarily every post on the account. An empty result does not prove that the account has no posts.

A connected assistant can read saved account and post Insights and request a supported refresh. “Queued” means the refresh was requested; check the status again before treating it as fresh data. Repeated requests do not make the provider update faster.

Follow the next action

  • Permission required: reconnect the social account in Influence and review its requested permissions. Reconnecting the AI assistant alone does not add social-provider permissions.
  • Stale or not collected: request a refresh where supported, then check its result and update time.
  • Unavailable or unsupported: that provider, account or metric may not offer the requested data. Follow the returned guidance; some data is available only through a live read in Influence.
  • Refresh failed: read the error and suggested action before trying again. A failed refresh does not turn old figures into current ones.

To check whether a scheduled post was delivered, use its delivery details in Activity. Delivery status and performance metrics answer different questions. See publishing recovery for an uncertain send.

Ask your assistant: “Summarize the available Insights for these accounts. Include the reporting periods, last successful updates and any missing data.”
